Noss Mayo Residential Care Home

Residents rights

Entering a care home should be viewed as a normal progression of ageing and be continuous wit the lifestyle of an individual. The staff will do their utmost to ensure that you settle into the home and are able to maintain your independence and develop your potential.

We believe that all persons have the right to be provided with comfort and care in their latter stages of their life. Our aim is to provide a home that gives you a lifestyle that is safe, secure, comfortable and varied where you can make new friends whilst maintaining contact with familiar friends and family.

We encourage family and friends to stay in regular contact and they may visit at any time. For security and fire purposes, all visitors must sign the visitor's book and make staff aware they are in the building.

Residents will able to continue to worship in their own way and within their own belief. At Noss Mayo there is a communion service held in the home and a local clergy also visits the home. There is a church nearby and all residents have the right to attend.

Staff respect the rights of all individuals to have their own believe and practice.
